Same true of McCartney when I saw him at Fed Ex Field in DC from primo seats right in the audiophilic "sweet spot" for listening, 1 section back dead center. I'm sure the sound quality was not as perfect as here in the rest of that huge football stadium. Modern NFL stadium sound systems have come a long way though I must say!
Paul McCartney live in Chicago
I took my wife to the Paul McCartney show at Wrigley Field this past Monday for her 50th birthday. She's a huge Beatles fan and loved the show and so did I. He played for three hours including two encores and never left the stage. I thought the sound was great and he and his band put on a great show. Tickets are expensive, but if you're a true Beatles or McCartney fan, well worth it!
