Pass Labs D1

Not sure how many people around might remember this DAC, but I have it and it sounds pretty damned good. Question I have, has anyone owned this DAC and purchased a newer one that bettered it?

I have heard several new top tier DACs in the $3-$7k range and I still prefer the almost 20 year old D1.
