Bakoon will be quicker, more detailed, better extension, and a little better separation. It’ll be a more flashy, colorful. The XA25 will scale up better (more powerful) little more bottom end. Denser images. Warmer relative to the Bakoon, more matte. Preference and synergy .. The original 6moons article on the XA25 has some more comparisons vs. other Pass or FW that you can use as a reference. Same with their Bakoon review. |
I don't have experience with the Bakoon but I have settled in with my Int-25 for about 6 months now. It does what I want: great detail with smooth sound. Great bass control. Detailed and articulate. Any experience will be dictated by your speaker choice. It clips at 60 watts so there is some reserve but I would not recommend it with difficult loads. |
