Part ID and name
In the picture at left bottom is a tan ceramic piece with capacitors and resistors inside. What is it called? Copate comes to mind but not correct.
Packaged Electronic Circuit, PEC for short.
I've seen a few of them go bad. If you can find the schematic, sometimes they show the values inside. They were used for tone control sections.
