Parasound halo 21+ Macintosh 7270

My setup has never sounded better, but of course I am contemplating an upgrade. I have Magnepan .7 speakers, REL Tzero subs, Macintosh c50 preamp and a vintage Yamaha P220 amp. I started out with Primaluna prologue 4 amp then tried an old Yamaha P220 with almost 8X the power, and liked the results. Now wondering if going to a better amp will improve the music. Any thoughts, I know the Parasound will match up with the .7’s and the 7270 is also a beast. I wonder is anyone has an opinion on the sound of the Parasound as compared to the Mac 7270. The price is about the same for both around the 2-2500 range, of course we are talking 30 years old vs new and of course blue meters vs no meters. Thanks
