'Attention US Customers:

Unfortunately, due to recent changes to USA tariff policy as of tonight we cannot ship to our valued American customers until further notice.

We are saddened that after decades of serving you, our loyal American customers, the updated tariffs have forced us to cease shipping to you at this time. This is incredibly unfortunate but we are exploring many solutions and hope to resume as soon as possible.

We hope to serve you again soon. thetubestore Team'

I ordered 5 JJ E83CC from eBay and apparently the tubes are from the Tube Store. Tubes show shipped. Will other tube suppliers follow this on new tubes? I also received on order from eBay that tariffs are due on sale page at top.  A lot of Russian tubes are sold to the USA. This is for new, not used tubes.

I'm just glad that so far, 'informational media', like CD's, DVD's, vinyl, books, etc will not be subject to this, but that's always subject to change.

This may relate to the executive order that sunset the de minimis trade agreement, which was a tax exemption that allowed packages worth less than $800 to enter the U.S. duty-free. In 2024, de minimis shipments coming into the U.S. were valued at more than $1.36 billion, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

As a result, postal groups in some European countries have paused some parcel shipments to the U.S. A key word is “paused” as they seem to intend resuming shipments once they figure out the ground rules and likely duration.  As with most things, when there is money to be made, they will likely get it figured out.  However, no guarantee it will be the same as it was previously.

Op, there are USA options for tubes for new production tubes - TubeDepot, VivaTubes, Upscale Audio, heck even Guitar Center
