Is the sound quality on the special release as good as the regular release that does not have the bonus tracks? Does the bonus tracks make the rest of the CD more compressed?
Bonus tracks do not affect sound quality. There is a finite limit to recording space but the CD standard has set that limit, you would have to lower the standard resolution to record more stuff and it would not meet the CD standard at that point.
