Oracle Delphi vs. ??? fill in the blank.

I really like the look of the delphi, a friend once had one that obviously left an impression on me. But i'm not convinced that it is the right table to get.
I am running a Kenwood "rock" cultured marble/granite plinth table now and dierly want to upgrade.
the rest of my system is I had a Levinson 28 (wife made me sell it... spells divorce for some. ha!) and am looking for one again a or better model 280s perhaps?, and still presently have two counterpoint sa-20 power amps going into a pair of Dynaudio Twynn MTM towers with custom heavy dampening and Solen heptalitz-wire inductors and fast metalized poly capsx-overs and monster internal cables, also a Teac VRDS 6030s tape deck. Synergistic Inouye line conditioner
I even made my own stand from aluminum and 3/4" granite shelves all spiked individually i would show you a pic but i am traveling and don't have one handy. the thing weighs 450pounds! thats without equipment on it!!
blah.blah.blah anyway the reason why i'm here is,
Please help! Any other tables to look at that compare to the oracle? or should I just buy the damb thing! looking $2000-3000 range.

your kenwood is a classic. i would recommend going (used) for a rega p9,thorens td350, linn lp12, roksan xerxes, or any generation of the above mentioned oracle(or a nice vintage alexandra or paris-which are way under your budget). in other words 'just buy oracle' and be done with it. it doesnt get much better, regardless of price and tweeks.
Dear Morper: On that price range nothing that I know can beat the Acoustic Signature TT: www.acoustic-signature.com

Regards and enjoy the music.
Raul.
Thanks for the input, the Oracle delphi is still in the lead but the Michell Gyrodeck looks very apealing. but will it sound as good, I know this is a different type of suspension so am i comparing apples to oranges here?
If you're buying a TT based on how it looks, no one can help you but you. Buy the Oracle like Jaybo said and be happy.

If you're interested in best sonic performance in that price range, I tend to agree with Raul.

A third possibility, which combines solid sonic performance and looks which may (or may not) impress you is the demo Teres 255 being offered on their website. This would give you a table that usually sells above your budget for $2,800. It's certainly worth a look.

I own an oracle and I'm very happy with it. It throws a huge soundstage and with a recent upgrade to Cardas Golden reference interconnect it now has the bottom end I was craving. No it doesn't have the Linn bottom end but then most linns that I have heard don't have the air that the Oracle has either. It's a trade off for sure and I bought my Oracle because it reminds me of an oil rig in the North Sea.
