Optimize SB Touch sound using USB Thumb drive
I red the various articles on optimizing the SB touch. Most are focused on streaming and not using the touch to uncompress/decode files.
I want to use a thumb drive. Can anyone suggest software mods that might make a difference?
So far, I turned on the fixed volume control through the remote and used wav rather than flac files (so the touch doesn't have to convert/uncompress the file). I also switched to a toslink cable which sounded more open than a DH Labs coaxil?
What else should I try. I am willing to turn off the analogue output and internet connection. I would like to use the remote and the screen. Everything else is fair game.
I red a blog post about reclocking the SBT however it seemed like it was related to SDPIF and coaxil cable not toslink.
