Optimal Feet for Meridian 857 RM

Hi Fellow Audiophiles,

I recently got Meridian 857 RM power amplifier. This is a rack-mount version of the Reference Two Channel Power Amplifier 857.

The problem is that the RM version has no feet and I don't want to get a rack for it.

There are no functional differences between RM and Standard version except the feet, which are absent in the RM.

May I ask your advise on which feet to use? The amplifier weight is 35 kg (78 lb).

Thank you in advance.

These look nice and this company does all their own in-house woodwork, sheet metal, and machining. Yes, a bit pricey but excellent quality. I have a set of their speakers and would love these feet for my components if I could afford them.

Of course, there are cheaper products but...

@atovstolis that pricing was for a set of four, not each. I would never suggest $2k for feet LOL! But they support up to 120 lbs, so whether a turntable or amp, they perform a similar function. Glad you got your feet squared away.

Oh, another footer solution I have used in the past for speakers and components is from Eden Sound Audio (https://edensoundaudio.com/shop/category/terrastone-footers/terracone/).

If your Meridian has threaded holes on the bottom plate, you can get proper threaded posts to make a perfect OEM-type install. Eden Sound will work with you to figure out which threaded post you need. Anyway, another good solution, albeit maybe pricey too.
