Opinions please. New Border patrol versus Sonic Frontiers Pro 3 with upgrade?

I own the Border Patrol and find it a pleasurable listen with no fatigue or harshnes. It is seemingly analog like, not to the level of a good old time LP, but it does take the edge off of some cd’s and digital content. . It is very well built and utilizes a tubed choke In the power supply chain. The tube "effect" is defeatable by pressing the front mounted panel button. The only negative is the fact that you must select what inputs you want to install at purchase, which can make the price go up considerably. I chose only the digital coax option to keep my cost reasonable. Also, there are several tiers of performance available, which again cost more. I chose the basic model. I'm overall happy with the sound of it.
