Opinions on RENOLABS in Vietnam

Out of curiosity how did you come across Reno Labs? This is the first time hearing of them, but their products look interesting and their website is well done. Not that it’s a big deal, but some pictures of their DAC with the screen turned on would have been nice. Agree, though, no response would make me hesitant.

Hopefully someone has some positive experience that they can share.

I am in the market for a USB reclocker/regenerator. Ideally, I’d like to find one that uses a 5V LPS since I already have one. After a Google search, the Reclocker from RenoLabs is exactly what I am looking for. It seems li’e a high quality device. 
 

I am probably going to buy one and take my chances. 

Decent site and good looking gear. The reclocker is certainly attractive at that price, pretty low risk to give it a try. Report back if you do. 

I placed my order for the RENOLABS reclocker last night. Yes I will report my opinions in my system. 
 

I have searched online for feedback on the various products offered by the company.  There are a few positive comments on their network switches. Otherwise,  very little info out there in the wild on this company.

A quick update on my experiences with Renolabs. Overall, very positive. 

1. I ended up purchasing an upgraded rev of the reclocker provided on the Renolobs website.  The new version includes an OCXO clock and LT3024 regulators. Cost is $400 + shipping. 

2. The reclocker arrived from Vietnam in about 1 week. 

3. Sound quality is very good. I heard a clear improvement in clarity, smoothness, and dimensionality. 

4. Communication was good. It's not perfect due to English not being a first language, but more than adequate. 

5. Overal, a positive experience. How does it compare to other reclockers, I can not say. I have no practical experience with others. 

This is a good find, OP. I’ve also been interested in reclockers and this seems to be a good option, but I’m even more fascinated by their tube monoblocks - the RA-833s. 

They have some nice looking solid billet casework for products in the 1-2k price range.
