Opinions on Daniel Hertz equipment

Looking at his flagship speakers, my first take is high powered PA speakers with a high end touch. Pretty cool and interesting but the top models look like you would need a huge room. One reviewer said he heard them at a show and the midrange was so loud every one left. I would like to hear them myself. And this patented chip to make everything sound like analog, is he compressing the dynamic range to his liking? Can anybody give me there take on this subject?

If you go on the DHertz youtube channel, Levinson answers all your questions in great detail. You can also watch the recent interview of Levinson by Alpha Audio on youtube.

As far as the C Wave and Mighty Cat chip stuff- pro audio has every processor you can imagine. They can emulate tape compression, vinyl playback and any space you can dream of. So I can’t imagine that C wave is not something borrowed from pro audio as well.

Very much a possibility....
