Open request to Audiogon programmers for filters on listings

I've asked them this several times and they always agree it is great idea, that they plan to implement it, but they never do. Below is my message from over a year ago that references a request  a year before that. Perhaps if those who agree would chime in, send them a message, we could get some traction.

It would also be to everyone's benefit, buyers and sellers and Audiogon, if we could save searches and get emails when something is listed that meets our search criteria. Right now I'm looking for a Naim Supercap power supply. If I got an email when one was listed the seller would be more likely to sell it quickly, I would get what I want, and Audiogon would get their commission on items listed that way. eBay does it.. why not here?

It would be very helpful if this site would refine its filters so we could more easily search for what we want to buy. As is you have to sift through many listings to find what meets your needs. Say I need a power amplifier with at least 100 WPC and balanced inputs listed for less than $1000. Unless I am intimately familiar with the specs on all amplifiers (I am not) I have to open many, many listings to find candidates when it would would be very easy to program filters into the site so I would only see amps that meet my needs. Searching cables for balanced vs. RCA with minimum length and maximum price, cartridges for MC vs, MM, etc.

I sent this to them a year or so ago and got a response that they agreed it was a very good idea

@herman  Contact me (Tammy) at support@audiogon.com
We do have this feature and I can give you instructions on using it.
I remember talking to the Audiogon management about this feature at a San Francisco show almost 20 years ago.
Tammy, I now see how to save a search. Thanks

That doesn't solve the bigger problem of searching with filters
