Open baffle speakers

I have both and enjoy both. That is what makes this hobby fun. Hearing what different speakers bring to the table.

My experience exactly. The openness and transparency of the X5s do it for me!

Not my experience exactly. I hear X5 mids as nicely fleshed. Of ourse there’s always the factor of what they are being fed.

And to think when I first started to read this thread, I was going to invite him over to hear my M3 Saphires.

I have the Clayton Shaw Caladans as my first OB speakers, and really do love them. Clayton uses great quality components, and they are a terrific value with all the knowledge he has from his Spatial days. They will stay in my rotation, and for less than $3,500 are a steal
