Older Dynavector 17d2 mII vs 20x2l

I am curious how the Dynavector Karat 17d2 Mii is compared to other newer Dynavector cartridges like the 20x2L. I have an opportunity to get a 17d2 mii in amazing shape with a straight cantilever and an super sharp stylus. I know the cantilever of the 17d2 is unique and it is a several year old cartridge. I don’t have the opportunity to listen ahead of time so wondering what opinions were out there.

Not looking for a lecture on used cartridges I know the risks and the rewards as well!

One consideration is the age. Over time the suspension becomes a problem. So I’d be careful of cartridge over 8-10 yrs old. That cartridge is suspect to being too old and may have a stiff suspension. That may be the reason for the low price

From my understanding, suspension can be a problem with any cartridge .What makes the Karat different? As to my comment, I'll share my opinions as I please. If you disagree, then say so. But forget telling me what I can and cannot post. So,why the attitude anyway?
