Old vs. New Dacs.

I agree, older DAC may have the lower spec but it sound different to some of the latest up sample dac... Not better or worst just different you need to hear it and compare it.

personally i don't get wrapped up into specs like this. what sounds the best to you? i have purchased expensive older dacs recently over much cheaper newer dacs because i like the sound better. or example, the older classe, audio research, and mark levinson dacs are still in demand.
