It’s a bit of fighting the addiction, but "in my experience," upgrades for upgrades sake are rarely successful - i.e. you are better off if you have a goal in mind.
I’ve found that your system will influence what you listen to - artists and genres - and then you’ll get into music that suggests the upgrade you might seek.
