Which is a better choice for Rainmakers, EPOS elan 10: nad 7175 pe or Carver 732? Mostly into light rock jazz, blues. Thank you.

What would you suggest for a moderately used amp or receiver? I'm having an NAD 7400 reconditioned (pots etc. )any better, or should I scrap them for new or moderate price wise? I need direction as a novice. Thanks.

It should make a bigger difference. The amp and preamp sections on your NAD are jumped externally. That allows you to bypass the preamp section of your current amp altogether.
