take the housing off and smell the caps
Odor from Philips CD80
My Philips CD80 is about 20+ years old I guess. Operates fine. I am noticing a strong plastic type odor emitting from it after about 10 minutes of use. Is this coming from the pcb board or another source? I'm not really concerned as it still works. Just a curious question for those more knowledgeable than myself. Thank you!
