North Creek Music - George Short

Last time I spoke to George he had sold out to another speaker company who,s name eludes me right now and was in Arizona.  I know north creek had a massive fire after moving to Arizona, it’s a shame he sold out George is a real gentleman who knew is stuff especially his inductors. 

That was at least five years ago and it’s a shame really he had some good designs and products’ I only hope he is well and happy and wish he could resume what he was doing some day.

Thank you tecknik and dekay!! Yes I talked to him after the fire. I thought it happened in New York. If I remember right it was a ,long time ago, the fire was because of the secretary did something. Oh well. He told me he was recovering from cancer back then. 

Anyway 15 yrs ago I bought a complete speaker system(7.1) The bass will finish around 100 lbs. Things happened and I never build them . I have all the plans and parts still in the boxes. I had a bad fall from a roof that really set me back for many yrs. I am now retired and planning to finally build this system. I have some beautiful rare bubinga for the boxes.

Dekay, thank you also . Yes I am going to look him up. Hopefully I can find him as it would be great to see how he's doing. And to finally show him the finish products.

The last I heard he was employed by Wisdom speakers /   audio in Utah . This was a few years back you could try to contact Wisdom audio to see if he is still there . I did buy one of the last manifest speaker kits before he closed . I still own them and use them everyday with a pair of his thunder subs . I finished my speakers in a beautiful waterfall bubinga  good choice beautiful wood. 
   I just happened to find this thread so sorry for the late reply but hope it helps to find George . I only talked to him once maybe 15 or so years ago very nice person.
