Perhaps using the word “audiophile” is too much. Some Korean artists, BIBI (Bad Sad and Mad, Animal Farm, lots of great songs), Taemin (Advice), DK (Missed Connection), Janet Suhh (In Darkness..English KDrama Soundtrack Queen).  Also, IU, the top female performer and KDrama star (Blueming).

Reminds me of my Mothers of Invention days.

So few responses.  I’m guessing that everyone listens to culturally relevant music.  As I lose my ability to understand language, except in rather quiet environments, it has allowed me to listen to music where I don’t understand the language.  After all, for those with hearing masking issues, anything but quiet backgrounds renders much of the words unintelligible. 

I listen to a lot of French popular music, but doubt that most non-french would care for the music and/or the recording quality.

Much of his stuff is corny, but my most recent purchase was a 13 cd box set of Jean Ferrat covering "most" of his work from 1961-1972.

These were remastered and recording wise sound good.

I also have this work in an LP box set which contains material not released with the CD set.

Listen to The Umbrellas of Cherbourg @ least once a month. 

You might also look up Francoise Hardy (I only have one album that my wife purchased).

If I'm in the mood for something that resembles English my go-to is Joe Cocker.

I’ve been a fan of Indila.  I suspect that she isn’t on many member’s favorite list.
