No Remote for AR LS-16.

Another thread about remotes got me to thinking about this:

I have an Audio Research LS-16 Mk1 pre-amp. It originally came with a remote but it was lost when this gear changed hands a few times. I contacted AR and they do not make the remote anymore and no longer have inventory.

Nothing on eBay.

I have a universal remote but it will only control the volume and will not change input sources, etc. Does anyone know where else I might look for an original AR remote for this unit

Thanks. I've got one. The problem, which is s small one, is that the Harmony remote will only change inputs in one direction of the knob and it will not activate any of the four switches that control power, standby, processor input or monitor input.

So it is really only useful for controlling volume.

Not a big deal but it would be nice to have an original remote and be able to control those thing too.

according to logitech, all harmony remotes will control your preamp--you can find something like the harmony 650 for really cheap
