I've got two versions of Tom Waits' "Swordfishtrombones". One is on Simply Vinyl and the other is original on Islands. Simply Vinyl version sounds less dynamic with certain over-digitalization and compression no extraneous sibliance though with overall pretty descent sound.

I was wondering if anyone here owns the Simply Vinyl version (SVLP 053) and the Geffen version (GF 24727-1) of this LP. I've got the Simply Vinyl cut and it seems terribly sibilant, almost unbearable. Has anyone else had any problems with this particular pressing, and is the Geffen release softer on the ears like the CD? Thanks,
