New Mac choice at reasonable price!

Hello.
I am in the market for a new DAC.
I currently have Micromega , which is good, but I would like to upgrade.
Here are some choices: Shiit Bitfrost Multi bit or  Wyred for sound DAC 1V2 ?
 Should I look at other brand/models? Budget is around $ 800 to $ 1000.
Would a Tube or hybrid DAC sound somewhat warmer?
System is : iMac/Yamaha  S-1000 CD player, Yamaha 801-S  amp,  Focal 836 W speakers.
Any other suggestions? Or am I being redundant by using a separate Doc since the amp has one already?
And made upgrade another part of the system?
