New Dac

Had a Rotel Rcd 855 for years, Finally got a Rcd 1572, some Material I miss the 855's Smoothness.What would be a good upgraded Dac for the 1572 to be used as a external Dac.Thank you

Used it with a USB/SPDIF converter for computer. Coax otherwise. Great PCM machine. Many inputs. Balanced and single ended outputs. I sold mine a year ago here on AG for $700 I believe. Maybe a little less. Great PCM DAC at $600.
