New Avatar ?

I've heard that VAC put the Avatar Super on the shelf because it wasn't cost effective. They are working on a new integrated amp, I don't know if it will still be called the Avatar, but they are trying to increase the profit margin on their entry integrated amp.

We do want a company as good as VAC to stay in business now, don't we?

I had a conversation a while back with Kevin Hayes that is consistent with John's comments. I didn't get the feeling that the new amp is a big priority though. It will probably be up around $10K.

I hope they go back to the design that allows triode mode like the old Avatar...it's magic!
