I have JPlay Femto installed on my PC and I listen to music coming from Qobuz
Network Acoustics ENO filter
Good morning everyone
I would like to buy a "Network Acoustics ENO1" network filter that I found used for about 350 euros.
However, I read that this filter works up to 100 Mbps by cleaning only four of the eight conductors of an Ethernet cable, unlike the subsequent ENO2 model that works up to 1Gbps and cleans all eight conductors of the Ethernet cable.
At home I use fiber optics that normally travels in download at about 600/800 mbps and in upload at about 500 mbps.
In my case would the old ENO1 version still be useful or do I have to buy the new ENO2 to get decent filtering given the speed of the network?
Another question, could the Jcat XE net card network card present in my PC (music server) or the Cisco Business 110 switch that is placed between the Jcat and the router conflict with the Network Acoustics network filters or cancel out their advantages?
Thank you
Alessandro
