Need help with Original CD 2008 player

I would appreciate any suggestions on where to turn to with bad Original CD 2008. I bought it o EBay few moths ago, it worked for 1 month (and it worked surprisingly well) and then developed static in one of channels. I've been trying to fix it locally (Brooklyn, NY)- with no luck. I asked for help AAA Audio since they sell them in US - again couldn't get any help from them - unit wasn't purchased from them, they don't want to talk about it. Tried to send emails to Original in China - 3 so far - no response.
I'm devastated!!!
Please help!
