Nice system I’m sure they are going to sound great. It was perfect timing one of my Quads just too a crap.. I have a the owner of the store where I purchased them coming over tonight. Strange popping noise I’m very upset.
Need Help choosing Totem Speaker
I'm currently using a pair Quads 2905's I am looking for a pair of dynamic speakers in the $5000 range to use as my second pair. I have heard a lot of good things about the Totem line but do not have a dealer in my area. My room is 20X15. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cjaronica, I think you’ll be very pleased. And I’m glad you hooked up with David. I will be doing more business with him in the future. I’ll be receiving my Forest Signatures in Cherry next week. I’ll be driving mine with Ayre front end, Preamp and Levinson amplification. Cardas interconnects and Audioquest speaker cables for now. N |
cjaronica- The Totem Forest in pricing starts around $4200.- depending on the finish. The Signatures are around $6500. I bought mine from David Lewis Audio. Call Dave, he may be able to help put a finer point on the details. http://www.davidlewisaudio.com/ N |
While I've never heard the quads, I've read positive things about them. I've owned the Totem Forests and they are a great speaker. I now have the Totem Forest Signatures in piano Cherry being delivered next week. The Forests have a very natural sound with great speed and the disappear when positioned properly. I'm using Levinson amplification and and Ayre front end and preamp. The Forest specifications: https://totemacoustic.com/en/forest/specifications Max SPL shows show 110 db at 7 feet in a 12'x 20' room N |
