need advice on odyssey sunfire system

hi, this may not be a match with anyone elses system but i,m going to move the emotiva/velodyne/magnepan system to another room and was wondering if a odyssey khartargo/cyclops would work well with 2 sunfire hrs-10 subs and their cmr-2 mini monitors. room is 12 x 18 and treated. the room has suspended wood floors and the walls are heavy plaster. i use aurelex subdudes under all subs and speakers to address the floor issue. i am intrigued by the ribbons and the holigraphic claims sunfire advertises. thanks john

The Odyssey piece is an excellent sounding integrated. I am sure it will sound great with the speakers you have in mind.
Did you consider the Odyssey speakers with the Kartago/Cyclops. Pretty sweet sounding set-up.

Sunfire will be fine also, the subs have thier own amps.
i live in the middle on hicksville and can not audition any speakers without a 4 hour drive. not that i mind but it will take a month to work back and forth to kansas city and st louis to check out speakers. maybe i should just get some tektons or odyssey monitors and try them out when i get the cyclops? if you don't mind me asking what is the area of concern about the sunfires? i,m after pretty much what everyone is,,,some speakers that in the price range have some relative wow factor with the cyclops.

sorry for double post. yes i have definitly been reading about klauses bookshelves., some texton lores, and maybe even the new guys used mbquarts. klause advised get the amp and use it for a few weeks on my mmgs and phase techs. i have also read about the new atlantic technology with their new technology, it also seems the sunfires get good press about the innovation with the ribbon tweeter and side woofers. so it should be a fun month of reading and looking. i heard the new revels are awesome even tho a bit out of the price range. thanks for the advice,,,john
I love the sound of the Sunfire ribbons but I have heard them sound a little hot with the wrong ss amps. You can't beat the Sunfire subs considering the size they move plenty of air. Totem might be another speaker you could check out. Totem always has a great sounding room at the shows and they are not afraid to set-up the entry level speakers. You are going to end up with a nice system, you are going about it properly.
If your budget can bear it, consider the Odyssey momoblocks. Made a huge difference to my system.
thanks for all the advice. klause told me in the future i could upgrade to mono blocks. i,m on a tight budget which is why i went with the cyclops with a volume control to not have to address the preamp right now. but this is fun. putting togeather a system that will probably be the best i.ve ever had is exciting to me. i.ll keep posting as this will take a few weeks....
no i have not. klause told me to wait til i get the amp and see how i like the mmgs with it.
i recieved the 2 sunfire hrt 10 subs and they have been playing for a week. realizing they cost 4 times what my velodyne deq 10 cost,,,the sound quality has stepped to another level. i have been startled a couple of times when tv commercials like a chevy truck door slamming hits. wow. rattling walls/window with classicasl music now has to be addressed with some treatments. volume and crossover set very low by the way.
