My new Borresen X3's

Im not saying Borresen isnt a good speaker and im not tryin to rain on your parade.I just saw a video where the importer was saying if you have the X series dont even listen to the new C line..its that much better,Insinuating you will want to move up the line or in this case spend a tad more and get way better speakers.. In 12 months my friend this is what they are saying about the X series..thats all im saying.You watch an onslaught of X2 and X3 speakers coming to market soon and half retail or less as the last real listing for X3 speakers was 6500 i think and they were on for months...

I was told the Z series is being discontinued ..so I guess we don't talk,ok

  The problem with Borresen is exactly what Raidho did when he was with that company..They upgrade or come with with new lines way way too often leaving those who bought their speakers 12 months ago or 24 months ago holding the obsolete bag..In 2022 the X3 was released,Axpona this year saw the new C series I think it is and now I hear another line is at Germany 2024..and we all know what happens when your speaker is upgraded or a new series is released..dump dump dump the value of what you have...Could be a great speaker but the resale value isnt there down the road.Great I guess if you like to buy on the cheap

No I don't own Borresen speakers I had Raidho though and lost a sheeeet load of money so I know better now lol

If what I'm reading is correct there is a new series at Germany for approx the same price point as the X series (the X1 was just released at Axpona) .The new C3 just released in Germany I believe is targeted as the replacement of the X6 for a tad more money ..Who the hell knows  I can't keep up with it.,it changes so quickly......that's my point!

I think the X1 was 5500 plus 1000 for the stands(all in at 6500?)at Nextlevel that night but I agree with hsounds..I love Borresen designs,Ive owned the Raidho C3 which were 40k when i bought them and the Scansonic 3.5 and 2.5 which even to this day I think the 2.5 is or was an amazing deal....So again not hearing the X3 yet im sure its a good speaker ,you just cant buy any Borresen new full retail,thats a sucker game.Wait a year and score!!!!!

You might of been better served moving up the Dynaudio line to the confidence series....I had the C4 for 4 or 5 years and when I sold them they were still current and I recouped most my money...
