My B&W 803D3 had sounded a bit bright. The manual says to setup an equilateral triangle with the faces aimed at the listening seat (toed-in).
I rotated them so their faces aimed straight ahead.
Voila! Worked like a charm. Highs were softened, and an added benefit was the soundstage sounded wider. Winner winner chicken dinner.
