Musical Paradise mp301 sounds bright

For just one month now I have owned and enjoyed a Musical Paradise mp301 tube amp with the basic stock tubes. It very adequately powers my Klipsch kg4 speakers. In almost all respects it is an excellent amp. Tonality, sound stage, bass, etc. are great. But one thing about my amp/speaker combo I find that I don't like; the treble on many of my CDs is too sharp or bright. This may be the fault of my Klipsch speakers or maybe the amp is so revealing that it exposes sharp recordings. Has anyone else had this experience? Should I look into different speakers? Maybe buy a Schitt Loki to tame the treble? Any ideas would be considered.

There are many CDs of all genres that are inherently bright sounding! Classical and Jazz tend to fare much better! Rock is often the worst for boosted treble! Yes, the Loki will work!
What are the output tubes in the mp301?  Triodes like the 45, 2A3 and 300B have a smoother high end than beam power tubes (6L6 family) and pentodes (6BQ5/EL84 and EL34).
