Music Vault Server

Presently I have my CD's loaded on my ipod via itunes ripped in Apple lossless and some HD tracks on my laptop which I play into my Peachtree idac. I want to combine these libraries into a server. I have been looking at the Music Vault servers. I was considering the Mach2Sever but prefer a more turn key approach. Has anyone had experience with the Music Vault? I will probably have to re-rip the CDs from ALAC to another codec? Any thoughts on this setup?

Count me also as a very happy Music Vault owner. One of Neal's first customers, original Vault still going strong! Tell him what your needs are and he'll make you happy.
I've also had a wonderful experience with Neal and the Music Vault. The Music Vaults are incredibly musical, sounding better than many CD Players costing 2 - 5 times more. Neal, as stated above is a pleasure to work with and makes himself available to ensure you are happy with the Music Vault after your purchase.
Neal is great, but so are the guys at Mach2
To bad you can't try both and let us know what you think
Good luck in your decision
I agree, Neal @Sound Science will work with you and provides great service after the sale.
I've dealt with Neal at Sound Science and heard Music Vault in a friend's system. It sounded amazing (this friend had some incredible gear, and sold off his $10,000+ CD Player to get the MV). Neal is a great person, very knowledgeable, and very honest. Give him a call and tell him what you want to do with your system; he won't lead you astray.
