Music Machine

I think we’d all be happier if we regarded our rig as a music machine that can magically capture all the world’s music.

RV, I hope you are well today. I listen, first, to the musicianship, the performance, and the composition (I consider all three as one). There is a reason I put that music on, at that moment in time. I am not fooled, as these are recordings we are listening to. Knowing these sounds of music enter a microphone/recording and mixing console; if I were trying to capture the proper "tone" of a violin, or "where" these tones are located, I have gone away from listening to the music and stuck in the equipment listening phase. This is me.....I am not saying gear does not matter. It most certainly does. However, I look to connect with my big 3, and generally, it is enjoyably accomplished.....during these listening times of mine I have selected, a prescribed gummy, for a calm and anxiety free listening experience, is often ingestedsmileyyes. Sad, when I was younger, I did not feel a need for them, although I enjoyed partaking. But now, in my 70s, and what I have been through, they help......? My best, MrD.

@larsman I am not sure what tolerance you are speaking of? The gummies I take are cannabis infused, and they do the same for me as the other. As long as it works. My best, MrD.
