I currently don’t have a choice to unstack my components but in an ideal environment, I would rather have PS on a separate shelf.
MSB Discrete DAC Dual Power Placement
Those of you who own a MSB Discrete DAC do you place the power supplies on top of the DAC? If not where do you place them? Vince at MSB didn’t recommend placing on top due to possible noise issues affecting the DAC yet in their other more expensive models the DACs are stacked on top the their supplies. And photos tend to show the supplies on top of the DAC. What has been your experience?
