Moving up????

Watched a couple of reviews today from GR research on you tube. Like to buy USA if possible. I know people say this part is made here and that part made here and assembled  in USA, blah blah blah. The crux of the review was on a company I was unfamiliar with, called Tyler Acoustics in KY.  The two speakers I was interested in were the Time Keeper and the Highland 3.5. Gr research referenced them (the Company) as using only top shelf drivers and everything within as being top shelf. No middlemen, direct seller. Handmade!!!  Only thing I didn't care for was a 20 day return policy, and a 20% re stocking fee, if you don't like it.    Does anyone have information or own these speakers??? Big R&R person here, just wondering how they stack up?/ Robert TN

Just a thought, but have you considered a road trip? Here and there over the decades I've been in this hobby I've taken a trip to hear speakers that I've been considering.   It's paid off both ways -- finding a prize and avoiding a mistake.

The only criticism of this approach is that you don't get to hear them with your room's acoustics, but I've always been able to pick up the fundamental character of the speakers.

Of course, it depends on where you live and where you have to go to hear the speakers -- a couple hundred mile round trip in a car is one thing while adding air fare, car rental and hotels adds a whole 'nother cost factor.

As noted, just throwing it out there.
