more power

I currently have an onkyo tx-sa607 receiver with cerwin vega vs-100 for the front high speakers vs-150 fronts and vs120's for my rear and surrounds, It rocks and clean with lots of bass, but I want more. The speakers are not getting their full potential. I was using onkyo a tx-sv909 pro receiver which I believe is a better quality along with two onkyo m-282 amps but limited to 5ch. Can I intergrate these with my current receiver for more power or does anyone have suggestions on what to use.

The 607 has pre-outs for all audio channels, so you should be able to add external amplification to both front and rear channels if you want, effectively using the receiver as pre-amp only (or as power amp for surround channels only).

If you still have the M282s, then start from connecting those in the chain, and see how you get along. The VS150 and VS120 can easily take more than the 100 wpc that the M282s are capable of. If you no longer have the M282s, I would consider trying the Fosi V3 - they are inexpensive, very well reviewed and incredibly powerful for their size.
