More discrete R2R dac's, Cyan 3 different models.

As good as the reviews have been for the R2R designs, it's good to see an even less expensive version for PCM and DSD. Let's hope they sound as good as they seem.

I first heard the Holo Spring (can't remember which version) at an audio show doing it's thing for a headphone set up and all I can say is the sound was remarkably coherent with great extension, and it was plain old 44.1 NOS.

All the best,

No, but there's glowing reviews of other models. I own a R2R Multibit (chip) Linn CD12, and think so far for me it's the only way of doing PCM (Redbook) conversion properly, but it's not discrete R2R Multibit as these are. I believe there's the opportunity to advance R2R and PCM conversion even more with these discrete ones. So I hope to read reviews of them, as one day I will have to go this way.

Cheers George
