Modwright PH9.0 X power source modification

Has anyone had their PH 9.0 power source modified to the tube rectification?

If so, what did it do to the sound ?

And have you tried any NOS rectifier tubes?

Me thinks I'd prefer tube rectification vs SS in the 9.0X. Tube rectification in general more 'natural' to my ears.
