Modifying Sound Dynamics 300Tis

I've decided to replace the stock binding posts on my 1994 vintage Sound Dynamics 300Tis. Could I please tap into the Community's collective expertise as how best to go about it?

An obvious choice is WBT Nextgens. Should I crimp or solder? And should I buy a kit or buy them individually? Anyone have a preferred supplier (Audiomania vs PartsConnexion)?
