Hi, I have been considering doing something similar to this but on a little different scale. I made some 3/8" thick x 2" wide x 18" long steel "bars" for my Eminent Tech. LFTVIII speakers and wanted to use these on my 3.5R's which already have tapped holes for tiptoes. I was going to run steel crosspieces in the front and the back to lock everything in place. I have considered attaching these to the existing feet. It seems something like this may help. Did you happen to catch the Stereophile article they did on George Cardas's system and his 3.5R's? He did some major modifications. Let me know your thoughts. Mike
