I’ve seen an almost conventional cart from Ortofon.

@rpm33 The Royal N is what you’re talking about. With SPU N adapter can be used everywhere. Along with the Ortofon SPU Royal G MKII (which is a good one with modern Replicant 100 stylus) those cartridges are no longer in production line. So i can not call them "current production" , but they are modern SPU. The latest "SPU Wood A" has been announced in the end of 2017 as the 100th Anniversary model.
