Mixing Tidal and local files for saved playlist in Mconnect

I have been trying to figure out how to create a saved playlist in the Mconnect player app with tracks from Tidal and tracks that are located on my local NAS drive but can’t seem to do it. It seems as though you are "exiting" the local file "area" and "entering" Tidal from the app so they can’t be mixed as far as a saved playlist is concerned, which seems very odd and restricting to me. Is this not possible or what am I missing? Kind of a deal breaker for me. Every other manufacturer control app I have used (Aurender, Lumin and Bluesound) allows mixed playlists from Tidal and local files.

I am using the Mconnect HD player app.
