Thank you both for your comments. Indeed, it turned out to be the cuing device that was set too high, and restricted the movement of the tonearm as it got to the end.

Micro Seiki DD30 Turntable
Happy belated Holidays to all, and hope you are all staying away from the darn virus!
I own a Micro Seiki DD30 TT. I had stored it in a box for about one year since I moved. I took it out this weekend and set it up again. It works fine until it gets toward the end of the record, at which point it will start skipping and the arm will not advance anymore. It even gets rather noisy at times. I tried fooling with the anti-skate control but it does not seem to make any difference. It was working perfectly fine prior to the move. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
