Michigan - Any Interest?

I am in Midland and I might be interested in a audio club.

First off I have a virus so I can't get back to any of you till it's gone. Sorry this just started. I would like to go to AKFEST is there anyone going from this side of the state? I lost the use of my legs and can't drive. But I would gladly pay gas money for a ride there. I have one other person in my area that says he may be interested in starting a club also. Do any of you have friends or family into Audio? The more we can recruit the easier it will be to have a monthly or bi-monthly meeting. I look foward to talking all things audio. My system is very low end. B&K preamp and amp,Denon DVD player,Technics 1200 and Polk LSi7 speakers. But I had to start some where.I will do my best to get my computer back asap. It's not quite RMAF but fun non the less.

I'm all for trying to get a group of guys together, but I also know how challenging it can be to try something like that at AKFest. There is too much stuff to see in a short amount of time. Last year I spent the whole day there and didn't see everything I wanted to. To try and add meeting a new group of guys to the mix might not work real well.
