Hi, Is the Meridian 551 any good? I’m putting together a system for a buddy of mine and there is one somewhat local for sale. I know it’s british, so how does it favor to other British Integrateds from Creek, Exposure, Naim, Roksan. Etc.?
I have owned the 502 preamp which is of the same linage and it was very good. I will speculate that if driving speakers at normal volume it will also be very good. You may find more info at Meridian unplugged.
