You can as long as you make sure to return the VC to the digital setting that you used to balance the channels on the processor. I did that with a 208!
Meridian 502 Preamp for Home Theatre
Putting together an all Meridian system for music and home theatre. The 502 does not have a (fixed gain) processor loop for accommodating the R and L front channel outputs of the 561 (or 568) surround processor. Can I use the 502s tape loop for this function? I remember reading in an interview with Richard Vandersteen or Dick Hardesty where they mentioned this could be (in general) done. I can't find that article now.
