Melos updates worth it?

I just purchased the melos ma 333 and was wondering if anyone has sent theirs to las vegas for upgrades.Was it worth the $500 in your opinion?

Does Melos have upgrades to these components as I am very pleased with their performance now. Are the upgrades worth it? Do they still use the remote control to mute the SHA-Gold?
